Climbing high in Val Venosta/Vinschgau

Are you looking for thrills on holiday? Then you’re in the right place. Climbing in Val Venosta/Vinschgau guarantees fun and excitement. Val Venosta/Vinschgau offers numerous challenges for climbing fans with its spectacular three-thousanders.

Fixed rope climbs

The beautifully made Hochwool fixed rope route in Stava/Staben near Naturno/Naturns attracts visitors with its unique landscape and breathtaking views. At the foot of the Ortles/Ortler, the highest peak in South Tyrol, there are two more challenging fixed rope routes for mountaineers and climbers.

Climbing garden

Especially recommendable is the Juval climbing garden at Reinhold Messner's castle of the same name which is very close to our hotel in Val Venosta/Vinschgau. The climbing halls in Sluderno/Schluderns and in Martello/Martell are popular indoor exercise areas; the Alliz/Allitz-Lasa/Laas forest rope courses and the high rope course of the Ötzi Rope Park in Val di Senales/Schnalstal make families with children happy.
